The New Hampshire Department of Transportation Back Office System (BOS) solution provided customer service and account management for the electronic toll processing. The Back Office System was provided by Cubic which required customization based on the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) business rules to manage operations and provide customer service. Cubic also handled the day to day operations for the customer service center.
P Square solutions team under the general software development and consulting services supported the transaction processing, payment processing, invoicing, statements, reporting and other functions for Back Office System (BOS) provided by Cubic. The team developed the complete reporting module including financial reconcilations and audit. Team succesfully designed, developed and implemented the full E-ZPass Interoperable Agency Group (IAG) interface for the BOS. Team supported NHDOT in receiving E-ZPass compliance re-certification to allow NHDOT BOS to successfully process E-ZPass transactions received from other state agencies as part of the IAG interface.
The team also performed complete Data Migration from Legacy system data to the new BOS system from Cubic. The team provided expertise in data analysis, data mapping, data conversion and complete ETL scripts to migrate legacy dataset to the production enviornment before go-live. The data migration was conducted in three phases – first one as bulk migration and next two incremental migration to support the transition to the new vendor. The dataset included last ten years worth of data for the legacy system.
The team developed independent interfaces from BOS to the payment gateway system, DMV system and provided support after the project go-live phase.
